Story
Location
Established in 2022, The Resting Nook was created with and inspired by peaceful and healing intentions.
Owner, Desiree Morejon has been practicing and studying the art & science of massage for over 14 years. Since graduating from the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in 2010, she has studied a variety of Eastern & Western methods of touch modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial bodywork, trigger point therapy, Thai massage, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, pregnancy massage and lymphatic drainage.
Desiree has developed an integrative style which is personalized per the clients' need - massage therapy can be used for reducing stress, anxiety, depression or used to relieve muscular discomforts and restoring balance in the body. When she is not actively engaged in the art or study of massage therapy, Desiree is a wander-luster who enjoys exploring new places near and far with her family, friends or on her own.
